Convertibles ‘67-’69 had crushed vinyl tops. 1970 and up had pin point vinyl tops.

Install Legendary products. On a convertible they are great, they look good, they fit good.

Convertible Top Frame
-
There shouldn’t be any differences in the top frame between 1967 and 1969.

Adjusting the Frame
-
Fit the window frames to the windshield frame before you put the windshield back in. It is time consuming trying to adjust the windows to fit the windshield frame and also make sure they align to fit the convertible top frame.

Convertible Top Switch
-
An original convertible top switch for the Chrysler is part #2820408. This switch has three terminals (Up, B, DN) with the B terminal having an extension that connects to the threaded stud on the Tung-Sol 30A-12V Circuit Breaker. They are very hard to come by.

I've seen these advertised in several catalogs, but I haven't tried one.

There is a switch sold by convertibletopguys.com. It looks pretty close to original. I zip-tied a circuit breaker to my original switch, so you could do the same with a replacement switch.

That "alternative" switch is made in China. You need to cut off the original three prong plug on the cars wiring harness, put some wire ring terminals on and attach. I also have a 30 amp in line fuse to go with that switch if I decide to go that route.

There is a guy on forabodies.com only that rebuilds those switches. I had him do mine and it was in bad shape.

Steele Rubber no longer carries the windshield lock strip for the ‘67 Vert. Steele website says theirs will fit but the picture doesn’t look right.
-
-
Everything I needed was included in one kit from Steele when I ordered the weather stripping. But call Steele, I'm sure they would sell what you need separately. Appears their are other vendors as well.

Convertible Trim
-
The bright work that goes around the Vert. windshield sides and top are stainless outside (exterior) and chromed inside (interior).
-
-
The interior on a ’67-’69 is steel. ’67 was gloss painted, ’68-’69 satin finish for the new regulations on anti glare surfaces. Hence dash boards, console paint work, and of course seat belt buckles and later door pulls.

Some verts have belt molding, some don't, and some have deluxe door panels, and some don't. My ‘68 did not have belt molding, and it did not have deluxe door panels. My ‘67 has chrome pillar molding, chrome upper inside trim, deluxe door panels, and belt molding.
